About us

The European Bioeconomy Conference brings together EU policymakers, researchers, investors, and sustainability leaders, alongside Europe’s bio-based industries, with a special focus for this first edition on forest-based industries, bringing together innovators in pulp and paper, bioplastics, packaging, textile, wood products, health and hygiene, and advanced bio-based materials.

Transcending sectoral discussions, it connects the dots between all the main viewpoints through comprehensive, inclusive debates and countless informal meetings and conversations alongside the official programme.

This year’s inaugural edition will explore how bio-based materials are already being deployed by Europe’s industry, from packaging to textiles, and how they can contribute to strategic autonomy and industrial competitiveness.

The conference is organised by Business Bridge Europe (BBE) and logos public affairs, both part of the mci group. As public affairs and communication agencies, BBE and logos bring together 25 years of experience and expertise in various policy areas, including energy, transport, industry, technology, defence, space, and aviation.
