About us

The European Bioeconomy Conference brings together EU policymakers, researchers, investors, and industry leaders from across Europe’s bio-based sectors, including bioenergy, agrifood, textiles, pulp and paper, packaging, wood products, bioplastics, and other advanced materials. It highlights the role of biomass-based innovation in supporting Europe’s industrial competitiveness, energy transition, and strategic resilience.

Transcending sectoral discussions, the conference brings together diverse perspectives through comprehensive and inclusive discussions. Complemented by numerous informal exchanges alongside the official programme, it serves as a platform linking high-level policymakers with industry representatives from the broader bioeconomy sector.

Building on the success of the first edition, this year’s event offers a unique window into the evolution of the EU Bioeconomy Strategy, the conference will showcase how Europe’s industry is already deploying biobased solutions across key sectors — from bioenergy and agrifood to packaging and textiles — and explore their growing role in strengthening strategic autonomy and industrial competitiveness in a sector already employing more than 17 million people and generating up to €2.7 trillion in value across the European Union.

The conference is organised by logos public affairs, part of the mci group. As a public affairs and strategic communication agency, logos brings together 25 years of experience and expertise in various policy areas, including energy, transport, industry, technology, defence, space, and aviation.
